 Why Arts?

More Information
Program Guides

The Bachelor of Arts program encompasses all those courses or subject areas which study aspects of human culture, such as languages, history, music, communication, literature, archaeology and sociology.

With 48 majors available, including eight modern languages, and links to dual degrees in areas such as law, science and business, an Arts degree is a useful vehicle for sampling a number of areas of study whilst completing a widely recognised tertiary qualification.

Do what you love, so you can love what you do!

We’re better at things that we like, so choose subjects you’d enjoy studying in order to do well. This keeps your options open for the future.

Employers are seeking adaptable graduates who can respond quickly and creatively to the challenges of both the domestic and international workplaces. Surveyed employers highlight the most desirable graduate attributes as matching those acquired through studies in Arts.
