UQ's postgraduate Arts program is designed to not only broaden your mind, but fit in with your lifestyle. You can study at a pace that's comfortable for you and decide on your level of study along the way. Start with just one course, and work your way right up to a Masters. Whatever your field of interest, from Applied Linguistics to Philosophy, we can help you to branch out in the direction you want to grow.
 


We offer a range of Postgraduate study options, including:

Bachelor of Arts (Honours)
 
The BA Honours is a year of additional study, following a Bachelor of Arts. Honours is available to students who satisfy the minimum GPA requirement. Normally, students do honours in the area in which they completed a double major or major.
 
 
Many of the Faculty's postgraduate coursework programs can be studied with no prior knowledge in the discipline area. Our programs include: Writing, Editing, and Publishing , and TESOL Studies and Applied Linguistics. You can also find out more about fees or scholarships for postgraduate coursework programs.

Admission to postgraduate research programs is normally on the basis of a bachelor degree with honours or a masters degree, but other qualifications may be considered for entry.
