Public Forum

The Cultural History Project will be hosting a Public Forum, at which a prominent scholar will deliver an address that will be open to the public, as well as the University community.

Symposia

20th November 2009 - "World War Two: Cultural and Social Directions."

Participants will include Dr Karl James (Australian War Memorial), Associate Professor Sean Brawley (University of New South Wales) and Dr Beatrice Trefalt (Monash University).

27th November 2009 - Australian Modernist Studies Symposium

Focussing on new modernist studies - emerging approaches to modernist history that emphasise interdisciplinarity and on early career researchers who are pioneering interdisciplinary research in the field. The symposium will focus less on innovations, methods, archives and opportunities for collaboration in modernist studies.

2010 Conference

A conference on Clint Eastwood will be held in 2010.
