Australian Studies - Graduate Programs
The University of Queensland offers graduate programs in Australian Studies by coursework (Graduate Certificate, Graduate Diploma, and Master of Arts) and by research (Master of Philosophy and Doctor of Philosophy).
Australian Studies provides many areas for exciting and original research in a 'new' nation with an ancient indigenous history, a nation at the crossroads of European, American and Asian cultures, a nation with a vibrant literary, art and film culture, a multicultural nation undergoing substantial change.
The approach is interdisciplinary. Areas covered include Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Studies, history, literature, cultural and media studies, history, politics, sociology, women's studies, art history and environmental studies. You can focus your studies in particular fields or range widely across the different areas.
